Contains two voyages: on the bark OCEAN of Sandwich, May 6, 1862 - Oct. 27, 1863, master Peleg Cornell (Sherman 611, Starbuck 590); and on the bark ADDISON of New York, July 25, 1868 - Oct. 24, 1868, master Peleg Cornell (Sherman 17, Starbuck 624). Contains sketches of whales and vessels, a sunfish, people, anchors, snakes, a turtle, profile views. At end: oil records; personal accounts.
