Contains two voyages: on the Ship TRIDENT of New Bedford, Nov. 26, 1846 - Oct. 29, 1849, master George M. Stetson, replacement master Marcus W. Taber (Sherman 756, Starbuck 436); and on the Ship MONTICELLO of Nantucket, Nov. 27, 1849 - May 6, 1850, master John M. Folger, homeward voyage from Honolulu (Sherman 578, Starbuck 426). At end: entries on shore; poetry; four entries on the bark ROBERT MORRISON of New Bedford, 1851-1854. Contains whale stamps, illustration of a whale, illustrations of a house and pie crimpers, and a clipping from the Columbian Magazine attached with sealing wax.
