Contains two voyages on the bark TRITON: June 12, 1865 - Mar. 20, 1868, master John W. Cornell, contains daily entries from June 12 - Aug. 13, 1865 and an "Abstract of Whales Seen Onboard" (Sherman 761, Starbuck 606); and July 21, 1868 - Mar. 7, 1870, master Moses Leander Snell (Sherman 762, Starbuck 626). Contains whale stamps. At end: oil and ship accounts for 2nd voyage.
