Volume 1 contains two voyages: On the ship MARY of New Bedford, July 22, 1852 - June 11, 1854, master William L. Slocum (Starbuck 494); and a portion of a voyage on the bark FRANCES HENRIETTA of New Bedford, Oct. 4, 1855 - Jan. 7, 1857, master Francis D. Drew (Starbuck 524). Contains whale stamps. At front: a poem. Volume 2 contains two voyages: second portion of a voyage on the bark FRANCIS HENRIETTA of New Bedford, Jan. 1, 1857 - Nov. 26, 1857, master Francis D. Drew (continued from v. 1); and on the ship WAVERLY of New Bedford, Dec. 1, 1857 - May 2, 1858, master Charles B. West (Starbuck 516). The latter was a homeward voyage from Honolulu. Contains whale stamps. At end: abstracts of voyages on the ship MAJESTIC of New Bedford, Sept. 21, 1861 - Sept. 25, 1861; on the bark GLOBE of New Bedford, July 5, 1862 - Aug. 12, 1864; on the bark GLOBE of New Bedford, June 29, 1865 - May 21, 1868; and on the bark PACIFIC of New Bedford, July 4, 1869 - July 29, 1870.
