Scope and Contents
The collection consists of prints from 1778 to 1992 related to events, places, and figures from Rhode Island history as well as views and landscapes of Rhode Island itself. The collection is divided into two series, one general series featuring prints produced through lithography and collotype, as well as prints by artists such as Whitman Bailey, Lester G. Hornby, and Eliza Gardiner. The second series consists of architectural drawings, building plans, and naval architecture plans, featuring a previous design of the Providence County Court House.
