Scope and Contents
The collection contains administrative and organizational records, papers, newspaper clippings and photographs. Photographs show a range of individual AIDS Quilt panels as well as displays of the panels throughout New England. Additional photos show quilt panels displayed at regional and national conferences.
Papers in the collection primarily include administrative records of NAMES Project RI and materials relating to displays of AIDS Quilt panels in Rhode Island and regionally. From 1992-2001, NAMES Project RI was a chapter of the national NAMES Project organization, and materials created by the national organization are kept in a separate series. Series 2 includes research and personal papers of Beth Milham.
