Sub-series 2.1: Promotional materials, 1988 - 2001

This collection contains materials collected by Bob Rizzo from the activities of the Providence Office of Cultural Affairs starting after its creation in 1976 and running through about 2009. The bulk of the collection is promotional materials, such as flyers, posters, programs, etc. for various arts and culture events sponsored by the Office of Cultural Affairs, including the Convergence International Arts Festival, which ran from 1988-2002. The materials also include press coverage, planning documents such as correspondence and receipts, media such as slides and photos, and some related ephemera.
