Contains five voyages: on the ship GRAND TURK of Dartmouth, June 15, 1836 - April 19, 1838, master Luther Little (Starbuck 330); on the ship GRAND TURK of Dartmouth, July 8, 1838 - Dec. 10, 1839, master Thomas Dexter (Starbuck 350); on the sloop RODMAN of New Bedford, Feb. 27, 1840 - Mar. 28, 1840, trading voyage, New Bedford to New York and return, master Wood; on the ship GRAND TURK of New Bedford, Apr. 3, 1840 - Dec. 16, 1841, master William W. Taylor (Starbuck 364); and on the brig PIONEER, April 1, 1842 - June 22, 1842, trading voyage, NY to Mobile and return, master Arthur M. Smyth. Contains whale and ship stamps. At end: entries whle aboard the U.S. Frigate OHIO, 1842-43, on the ship CARTHAGE, 1845, and on the brig EAGLE, 1845. At front: entries while in Dublin. Contains crew lists for the GRAND TURK voyages.
