Nickerson Collection of Books on Architecture

The Nickerson Architectural Collection was given to the library in 1908 by Lyra Brown Nickerson as a memorial to her father, Edward Irving Nickerson, who had collected approximately 790 books on architectural history by the time of his death that year. Notable areas of focus for Nickerson include Piranesi and American building manuals.
