Scope and Contents
The collection comprises 19 letters in 22 mailing envelopes. Included in the correspondence is poetry and artwork by the author, a tattoo artist. Many of the envelopes are decorated as well.

Conditions Governing Access
Due to the incarcerated status of the collection's author, the original items are restricted until January 1, 2083. Researchers may use redacted reproductions, but no secondary reproduction may be used in a for-profit basis.
Biographical / Historical
The author of the letters in this collection was a teenage child of immigrant parents in the American midwest and was convicted of killing a police officer in the 1990s. He was a tattoo artist, working in the new school style, and many of the letters and envelopes feature artwork influenced by or intended for tattooing.
