The collection is comprised of 26 chromolithographed advertising cards, one for each letter of the alphabet, that feature exaggerated depictions, primarily of misbehaving children. The cards are stamped with "Blake's Great Piano Palace, 612 Washington St., Boston," indicating that they were used for promotional purposes. Two of the cards feature racist caricatures.
