Scope and Contents The Lionel Pires collection includes personal accounts and narratives of Lionel Pires’ experiences in the LGBTQ+ community in both Rhode Island and the United States from the late 1970s to early 2000s. The bulk of the collection is photographs, however it also includes ephemera, newspaper articles, and correspondence.
