Hi-Y and Cosmopolitan clubs, 1920 - 1928

This collection contains material concerning the development and operation of the Greater Providence YMCA from its inception in 1853 to 2005. About half of the collection consists of organizational records: foundational documents, board meeting minutes, annual reports, financial ledgers, building plans and permits, program planning materials and flyers, and various letters, faxes and other correspondence. The other half consists of photographs including events, holidays and social clubs, education, arts and culture, fitness and athletics, building facilities, summer camps and activities, and portraits of staff and young members.
