Biographical / Historical

Paul Rand was a prominent American graphic designer, known for his work on corporate identities such as IBM. In 1988 he was commissioned to design the logo for the clothing store The Limited. The same year he worked on a logo design for TLC Group, a food conglomerate that was at the time the largest African American owned business in the United States.
