David L. Aldrich business records
The collection includes business records including correspondence, receipts for payments and insurance policies. The records related primarily to the Hope Valley Manufacturing Co., but also include documents relating to Aldrich’s purchase of the Plainville Mill in 1874.
Scrapbook on Allen Family Hot Air Balloonists
The collection consists of one scrapbook including photographs of hot-air balloons in New England, 1885-1890, and clippings mostly regarding flights of the balloonist family lead by James Allen.
John B. Archer Collection
This collection is comprised primarily of the work of John B. Archer. It contains scripts, arrangements, and sheet music of the various comic operas he wrote. Included are drafts in various stages of completion, almost all with handwritten notations. A scrapbook also contains extensive photographs of the staging of The Romany Maid. This scrapbook also includes programs and newspaper reviews.

The collection consists of the papers of the Arnold family, chiefly letters, but also circulars, invitations and other ephemera, dating from 1861 to 1904. Letters of the Arnold family consist mainly of personal correspondence. In some cases a family member held an office and their professional correspondence is also included.
