Purtill Collection of Circus and Sideshow Scrapbooks
The scrapbooks include newspaper clippings as well as photographs, postcards, business cards, letters and other printed ephemera. The collector has annotated many items in pen with dates and locations.

The bulk of the collection includes original music compositions and arrangements by Reeves. Also included are photographs, recordings and organizational records related to Reeves, the American Band and various other brass bands in Rhode Island.
